The informal discussion is in Finnish or English, depending on the wishes of the participants. The reading group meetings are open and free of charge for everyone, and Titanik’s space is accessible.

Welcome!

TITANIK LIBRARY, launched at the start of 2019, is a new project aiming at creating an exhibition based library collection at Titanik. Since the start of the year, we’re acquiring literature for each of our exhibitions in dialogue with the artists involved. The aim is to provide a vaster framework for both artistic practices and the exhibition projects themselves. TITANIK LIBRARY entails also public reading group sessions and discussions. With the library project, we want to open up topics in contemporary art in relation to Titanik’s programming, as well as create space for reading and learning together. TITANIK LIBRARY is kindly supported by Alfred Kordelin Foundation.
