Welcome!
Titanik Library, launched at the start of 2019, is a project aiming at creating an exhibition-based library at Titanik. Since 2019, we have been acquiring literature for each of our exhibitions in dialogue with the artists involved. The aim is to provide a framework for both artistic practices and the exhibition projects themselves. Titanik Library entails also public reading group sessions and discussions. The library project aims to open up topics in contemporary art in relation to Titanik’s programming, as well as to create a space for reading and learning together.
In 2021 Titanik Library is kindly supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Varsinais-Suomi Fund.
