Kärsimys on tila, jossa elämme. Ja kun se tulee, sinä tiedät sen. Tiedät sen olevan totta. Tietenkin on oikein parantaa sairauksia, estää nälkä ja epäoikeudenmukaisuutta, kuten sosiaalinen organismi tekee. Mutta mikään yhteiskunta ei voi muuttaa olemassaolonsa luonnetta.

Hegeliläisen ajattelutavan kaikkien sääntöjen mukaan kaiken todellisuuden rationaalisuuden väittämä ratkaisee toisen väittämän: kaikki, jotka ovat olemassa, ansaitsevat kuoleman.

1900-luvun verkkotietojenkäsittely on maailman kaunein kaapeli kahden paska-spagetti jäteastian välissä. Kaksi täysin erilaista jäteastiaa. Käy ilmi, että riittävän suurella paska-spagetti jäteastialla voit ruokkia maailman. Ja miksi ei kahta?

Emme voi estää kärsimystä. Tämä kipu ja tuo kipu, kyllä, mutta ei kipu. Yhteiskunta voi vain helpottaa sosiaalista kärsimystä – tarpeetonta kärsimystä. Loput pysyvät. Juuri, todellisuus.

Suffering is the condition on which we live. And when it comes you know it. You know it as the truth. Of course it’s right to cure diseases, to prevent hunger and injustice, as the social organism does. But no society can change the nature of its existence.

In accordance with all the rules of the Hegelian method of thought, the proposition of the rationality of everything which is real resolves itself into the other proposition: All that exists deserves to perish.

20th-century network computing is the world’s most beautiful wire, between two dumpsters of shit spaghetti. Two completely different dumpsters. It turns out that with a big enough dumpster of shit spaghetti, you can feed the world. And why not two?

We can’t prevent suffering. This pain and that pain, yes, but not Pain. A society can only relieve social suffering – unnecessary suffering. The rest remains. The root, the reality.
